MSI client appears on CNBC's “Power Lunch” segment highlighting new technology that combats distracted driving.
The MSI PR team is excited to share this CNBC “Power Lunch” segment featuring our Aegis Mobility client! The episode, which aired on August 11, highlighted new technology that combats distracted driving.
Olen Vanderleeden of Aegis Mobility demonstrated how the company’s TeenSafer software solution puts the phone into safe mode when the GPS on the device detects that it’s in a driving state. In safe mode, access to the device is blocked by a curtain screen and all calls, texts and other notifications are suppressed.

In addition, MSI PR also secured coverage on CNN for Aegis Mobility earlier this year. The article delves into the dangers of texting and driving, particularly for teens, with information about solutions available to help parents protect their children on the road. CNN also featured Aegis Mobility in a live Twitter chat focused on driving distractions.
Since we all know that distracted driving is a serious issue for teens and all drivers on the road today, we’re excited about the opportunity to help spread the word about ways to prevent the tragedies that result from this dangerous habit!
